I actually wanted to call my site rough-diamond.net; because I wanted the name to mean imperfect (since no one is perfect) and part of my chinese name is zuan(钻) which stands for diamond. but then
I remembered that that was the name for
Kato Kazuki's album, and I didn't want to take it because people would think that I named it after the album
(and it'd make me sound really fangirl-ish, urgh). So I decided to hit the thesaurus and look for something similar. themottledgem sounded the nicest so that's how it came to be ^^domain host:
